Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at DTK FOOD SERVICE INC. O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
    • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and stock inventory and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in food service or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment is essential.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
