KINTETSU WORLD EXPRESS IS HIRING AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who is committed to providing exceptional service to our esteemed clients. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Practical experience in an Accounts Payable function.
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and data interpretation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or similar accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Accounts Payable Lead with data entry for incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Process weekly payments and reconcile accounts daily.
- Support the filing of invoices and related accounting documents.
- Record and reconcile company payments within the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in billing or payments.
- Prepare daily reports and statistics for key stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial records.
- Address payment issues in accordance with corporate policies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service as the primary contact for client inquiries.
- Adhere to all safety policies and report any unsafe practices.
- Provide backup support during peak periods and employee absences.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve departmental objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership by sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
