Job Title: Assistant Manager, Distribution Center

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Distribution Center team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff to achieve daily goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Center Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform quality control measures to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of general distribution center operations.
  • Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of computer systems (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
