Job Title: Field Mechanic, Heavy Equipment

We are seeking a skilled Field Mechanic, Heavy Equipment to join our team at Carol Lake Metal Works Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks and equipment
  • Keep maintenance records and documentation
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Service attachments and working tools
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a cold/refrigerated environment, with staff accommodation available. The position requires a willingness to relocate and work in a team environment.
