Job Title: Store Supervisor


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team at Vente au Détail Bestseller Canada Inc. As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail salespersons and sales clerks, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize product displays, and implement effective merchandising strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure team members are equipped to meet their roles and responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.


Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in French and English.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
