Position Overview

With extensive experience in construction and unparalleled knowledge of natural gas systems, your commitment to safety is paramount. Your operational decisions prioritize the well-being of your team and the integrity of the infrastructure. If this resonates with you, the role of Operations Supervisor is an excellent match.

In this capacity, you will manage construction teams and activities in the Metro Vancouver region, ensuring the safety of your personnel and the reliability of assets and equipment.

In Year 1, You Will:
  • Become proficient with the software and applications necessary for timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
  • Effectively manage and dispatch work tasks.
  • Promote our safety culture to prevent accidents and injuries.
In Year 2, You Will:
  • Broaden your understanding of resource and administrative budgets.
  • Establish connections with external stakeholders and municipal representatives.
  • Collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives aimed at operational excellence.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance performance and work quality.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
What It Takes:
  • A minimum of five years of management experience focused on natural gas infrastructure; a post-secondary diploma is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in construction, underground utilities, and emergency response is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for developing quality solutions with a safety-first approach.
  • A collaborative mindset that strengthens workplace connections.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications such as Word and Excel.
