Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at SUPER-SAVE GAS. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's financial transactions.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our store is well-staffed at all times.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our cashiers, grocery clerks, shelf stockers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain our store's inventory, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
