Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a recognized Electrical Engineering program and possess 1-4 years of relevant experience in the consulting engineering sector. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a College or University program in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-4 years of experience in the consulting engineering field.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Self-driven with a strong commitment to work ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of engineering calculations to size equipment, ductwork, piping, and more, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
  • Develop engineered drawings using AutoCAD and utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks.
  • Maintain regular communication and coordination with clients, architects, and other consulting professionals.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected Work Hours: 36 hours per week

Additional Compensation: Overtime pay available
