Lead User Experience Designer

FlyHigh Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned User Experience Designer to spearhead the design of our digital products. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and intuitive design solutions that address complex business and user challenges.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business, marketing, and development, you will leverage your expertise in design thinking methodologies and toolkits to help define product roadmaps and value propositions. Your ability to facilitate product design/development workshops and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors will be essential in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and mockups that meet business and user needs.
  • Conduct market research, user research, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system for our digital properties.
  • Advocate for user-centric, iterative design approaches.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure design specifications are implemented to a high standard of polish.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about design and committed to creating solutions that enhance people's lives.
  • Thrilled to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a rapidly growing company.
  • University degree in Information Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Web and Graphic Design, or equivalent discipline.
  • 10+ years of UX/UI/Product design experience with a deep understanding of native app design principles, patterns, and specifications, as well as responsive website design.
  • Deep knowledge of design thinking methodologies and toolkits.
  • Experience in independently completing 0 to 1 product projects or participating in user experience design for medium and large projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
