Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen helpers.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. The work involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to support newcomers and refugees in their settlement process. This may involve assisting with immediate settlement needs, recruiting new staff members, and supporting foreign credential recognition.
