Site EHS Manager

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to join our team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for our associates.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Operations Teams to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local, regional, and federal regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessments and WHS data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Lead and develop a team of WHS professionals, creating and executing leadership development plans and providing frequent feedback.
- Measure site performance against published requirements in WHS policies and drive accountability for improvement.
- Perform frequent site WHS audits to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with global WHS standards and regulations.
- 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience leading multiple direct reports or multiple sites.
- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment (preferred).
