Job Summary:

Challenger Motor Freight is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship-building
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain a database of prospects and customers
  • Perform market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and pitches to potential customers
  • Work closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales success in the transportation industry
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
