Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing domestic initiatives, managing logistical operations, and developing systems to enhance fundraising efforts. This position is centered on improving efficiency, coordinating campaign execution, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives to maximize fundraising success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and assessing fundraising initiatives aimed at engaging volunteers, donors, and key institutions.
  • Collaborating with various teams to guarantee effective, timely, and budget-compliant campaign execution.
  • Acting as the main liaison for external partners, including vendors and donors.
  • Creating and implementing systems and processes to bolster the fundraising department's operations, including donor management systems and communication channels.
  • Managing daily operational aspects related to fundraising activities, including resource allocation, logistics, and timelines.
  • Aligning domestic campaign strategies with the broader organizational mission, securing budget approvals, and reporting on campaign outcomes.
  • Conducting data and financial analyses to address challenges such as low volunteer participation and suboptimal fundraising efforts.
  • Implementing established strategies and innovating new solutions to enhance volunteer engagement and campaign performance.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree with certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding planning, organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and high standards for quality.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with diverse groups.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Experience in analyzing departmental procedures, methods, and systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading or supervising a team.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Comprehensive understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with donor management systems and data analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Competencies in teamwork, delegation, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with a commitment to achieving organizational goals.
