Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Child Care Program team at Accoravillage. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the school age team to develop and implement program plans that meet the needs of our children and families.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to child care and early childhood education.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including staff attendance, child enrollment, and program evaluation.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or approved equivalency from a recognized college or university.
  • Working knowledge of child care early years act (CCEYA) is an asset.
  • At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
  • Health assessment and record of immunization, as outlined by legislation.
  • Up-to-date registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (if applicable).
  • Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and standard first aid (training provided upon selection if required).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation, and with the use of pedagogical documentation.
  • Proven ability to establish effective relationships with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365, Intranet, Dayforce, and Storypark.
