About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Peregrine CPA Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing administrative support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our clients, including organizing day-to-day business operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English (Work Language).
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
