Job Summary

The Floral Express is seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality merchandise for resale, taking into account market trends and customer demand.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, and credit terms to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that stock is adequate to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The Wholesale Buyer will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
