Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. As a key member of our Asset Reliability Planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with operations, production planning, and reliability teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Use SAP system to schedule maintenance activities and track equipment performance
  • Analyze reports and troubleshoot areas of downtime concerns to minimize machine downtime and maximize equipment uptime
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and internal trades to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities
  • Develop SOPs, workflows, and Key Performance Indicators to measure and improve maintenance effectiveness
  • Prepare reports and results from SAP to support business requests
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • SAP knowledge and experience with SAP system
  • Strong MS Office computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
