Logistics Manager

We are a leading transportation company that provides reliable and efficient logistics solutions to our clients. As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Finances and Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Arrange Shipping Documentation: Coordinate with clients and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely shipping documentation, including customs clearance and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure Transport Compliance: Verify that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Establish Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
- Negotiate Services and Rates: Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best rates and services for our clients.
- Oversee Vehicle Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor Revenue and Performance: Analyze revenue and performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize operations.
- Plan and Direct Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily operational plans, ensuring that all activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Supervise a Team: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.
- Ensure Security and Safety: Verify that all transportation activities are conducted in a secure and safe manner, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Manage a Large Caseload: Effectively manage a large caseload of clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication and resolution of issues.
- Work Under Pressure: Perform under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a high-stress environment.
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve operations and services.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation management.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
