About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at RIGHTSPEED TRANSPORT LTD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance, including metrics on inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery times.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 5-10 personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Technology and Systems: Utilize dispatch management service software, electronic mail, spreadsheet, database, and other technology tools to manage logistics operations and improve efficiency.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the shipping line industry, including delivery, trucking, and traffic controlling.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, accurate, values and ethics, initiative, judgement, analytical, proactive.
