Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Robust Transport Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department, ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Finances: Oversee the financial aspects of logistics operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Arrange Shipping: Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of shipping documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor and analyze revenue streams to optimize logistics operations.
Supervision:

The Logistics Manager will supervise a team of 16-20 employees, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the success of the logistics department.

Security and Safety:

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

The Logistics Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
