About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their performance expectations.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that we receive the best possible rates for materials and supplies.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Front Desk Duties: Perform front desk duties, including checking in and out guests, handling customer complaints, and resolving issues.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring that our hotel facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.

Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, and team player.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
