Job Summary:

As a key member of our live event team, you will play a crucial role in assisting promoters and liaising between departments to ensure the smooth execution of concerts and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between colleagues and clients to facilitate work and accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort.
  • Screen calls and respond to internal and external requests for information, ensuring that requested actions are taken or completed.
  • Establish and manage relationships with industry professionals, including agents, band management, tour managers, and venue management.
  • Prepare show offers, manage venue calendars, route dates, and tours.
  • Confirm shows and distribute information to staff and venue contacts.

  • Provide support for grant applications and reporting, as well as special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with presentations, reports, materials, and samples for meetings and presentations.
  • Work with internal cross-functional departments and external box office personnel.
  • Provide general administrative support and perform diversified administrative duties, prioritizing and managing projects with minimal supervision.
  • Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments, and update calendars.
  • Assist in managing various venue calendars.
  • Make travel arrangements and handle expenses.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain organized, with attention to detail.
  • Perform general office duties, including mail, filing, copying, and faxing.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to navigate the internet as a communication and research tool.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and foster professional relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • High level of expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong work ethic with a high sense of responsibility in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive matters, and exercise excellent judgment.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • Experience in the live music industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the touring and concert industry is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in business, music management, PR, communications, or a related field is an asset.
  • Avid interest in music, knowledge of artists and genres, and a desire to learn about the music industry.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
