Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication and maintenance team, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Repair and maintain existing equipment and machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery and equipment
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and components
  • Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
