About the Role

As a ServiceNow Solutions Developer at WSP, you will play a key role in designing and delivering consulting and technical methodologies around the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to comprehend business needs and develop solutions that align with the company's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Consulting and Technical Methodologies: Develop and implement consulting and technical methodologies around the ServiceNow platform, working closely with the development team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Architect Technical Implementation: Leverage your knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end methodologies within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and organizing and prioritizing development effort.
  • Develop Custom ServiceNow Applications: Develop custom ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies, such as HTML5, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
  • Configure Workflows and Applications: Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows, as well as configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with Third-Party Systems: Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems/applications via APIs.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Rapidly prototype new solutions to demonstrate ServiceNow capabilities to stakeholders.
  • Design, Configure, Develop, and Test: Design, configure, develop, and test on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to the CSM, Service Request (creating catalog items and workflow), Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Support Team: Support the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow installation, including managing system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, developing workflow customizations, and performing quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • 10 Years Software Development Experience: At least 10 years of software development experience, with a strong background in ServiceNow and related technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and other relevant technologies, as well as experience with the ServiceNow Studio IDE and Workflow Editor.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification: ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.
