About the Role

As a ServiceNow Solutions Developer at WSP, you will play a key role in designing and delivering consulting and technical methodologies around the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to comprehend business needs and develop solutions that align with the company's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Consulting and Technical Methodologies: Develop and implement consulting and technical methodologies around the ServiceNow platform, working closely with the development team.
  • Architect Technical Implementation: Responsible for leveraging knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end methodologies within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and organizing and prioritizing development effort.
  • Develop Custom ServiceNow Applications: Develop custom ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies.
  • Configure Workflows and Applications: Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows, as well as configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with Third-Party Systems: Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third-party systems/applications via APIs.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Rapidly prototype new solutions to demonstrate ServiceNow capabilities to stakeholders.
  • Design, Configure, Develop, and Test: Design, configure, develop, and test on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to the CSM, Service Request (creating catalog items and workflow), Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Custom Forms, Tables, and Workflows: Design, configure, develop, and test custom ServiceNow forms, tables, and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Support and Administration: Support the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow installation, including managing system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, developing workflow customizations, and performing quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Software Development Experience: 10 years of software development experience.
  • Technical Skills: 4 years of experience with HTML5, JAVA, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and ability to build reports, dashboards, and homepages with ServiceNow or similar technologies.
  • ServiceNow Administration: Administration of a ServiceNow instance, including delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items, and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions.
  • Integration and API Experience: Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through REST APIs.
  • ServiceNow Studio IDE: Experience using the ServiceNow Studio IDE.
  • Workflow Editor: Experience using the Workflow Editor to configure workflows.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification: ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.
