Position Overview
The Pharmacy Manager will oversee the safe, effective, and appropriate administration of drug therapy while fostering an environment that promotes employee and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in driving departmental excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Manager's duties include:

  • Emphasizing clinical services such as medication reviews and disease management
  • Developing and documenting care plans
  • Administering immunizations
  • Assessing the suitability of drug therapies
  • Monitoring patient adherence to medication
  • Gathering and recording essential patient, medication, and health information
  • Advising on over-the-counter products and supplements
  • Responding to patient inquiries requiring clinical expertise
  • Supervising pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in executing restricted tasks

Qualifications & Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a managerial pharmacy role (preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to expand business operations
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with front-store staff for enhanced patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
