Role Overview:

With a proven history of robust growth and exciting plans ahead, this is an opportune moment to become part of the Ferrero Group and the cherished Kinder brand. We are in search of a Brand Manager who will spearhead the profitable expansion of the Kinder Seasonal portfolio within the Canadian market. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of the retail trade framework, demonstrates intellectual curiosity regarding brand and category performance, and has a keen eye for creative detail when collaborating with agency partners.

In this position, you will assist in formulating brand strategies, shaping the medium- and long-term trajectory of the Kinder Seasonal portfolio within a dynamic consumer packaged goods sector. The Brand Manager, Kinder Seasonal will collaborate closely with global and regional marketing teams, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

This role operates in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-lead the development and execution of brand strategy, overseeing brand profitability and recommending corrective measures as necessary.
  • Monitor brand performance, providing regular updates to the brand team and senior leadership.
  • Stay attuned to the competitive landscape to evaluate its impact on the business, identifying insights and formulating action plans to achieve brand objectives, in collaboration with Trade Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the global team to influence the creation and implementation of a 3-year innovation pipeline.
  • Lead media strategy recommendations while optimizing return on investment in partnership with Media Agencies.
  • Support the development of brand advertising, ensuring asset creation for all consumer touchpoints throughout the year.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in executing defined Marketing Plans, working with Legal and PR to ensure compliance and brand governance of all content and communication assets.
  • Accountable for managing brand advertising and promotions budgets.
  • Lead consumer activation strategies across advertising, digital and social media, and public relations.
  • Engage and motivate internal sales partners to foster enthusiasm and ensure exceptional execution to meet objectives.
Candidate Profile:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is advantageous.
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing; experience in confectionery is a plus.
  • Proficient in brand management, including strategic brand planning, data analysis, financial management, communication, advertising, and media strategy.
  • Understanding of the Canadian consumer and retail landscape.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to inform decision-making.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects within established timelines.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with consumer data, such as AC Nielsen.
  • A highly motivated achiever focused on results.
