Role Overview:

As we continue to experience robust growth and exciting opportunities, we are looking for a Brand Manager to spearhead the profitable expansion of the Kinder Seasonal product line within the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of retail dynamics, a keen interest in brand and category performance, and a meticulous eye for detail when collaborating with agency partners.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in formulating brand strategies that will shape the future of the Kinder Seasonal range in a rapidly evolving consumer goods sector. The Brand Manager will collaborate closely with global and regional marketing teams, as well as Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-develop and implement brand strategies, ensuring brand profitability and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Regularly monitor brand performance and provide updates to the brand team and senior management.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape to evaluate its impact on the business, derive insights, and create action plans to meet brand objectives, in collaboration with Trade Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the global team to influence the creation and execution of a three-year innovation roadmap.
  • Lead media strategy initiatives while maximizing ROI through collaboration with media agencies.
  • Support the development of brand advertising, ensuring asset creation for all consumer engagement points throughout the year.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in executing defined marketing plans, working with Legal and PR to ensure compliance and brand governance.
  • Manage brand advertising and promotional budgets effectively.
  • Oversee consumer activation strategies across advertising, digital platforms, social media, and public relations.
  • Engage and motivate internal sales teams to drive enthusiasm and ensure execution excellence to achieve objectives.
Candidate Profile:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in brand marketing within the consumer packaged goods sector; experience in confectionery is a plus.
  • Proficient in brand management, including strategic planning, data analysis, financial oversight, communication, advertising, and media strategy.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian consumer and retail landscape.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to inform decision-making.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects within established timelines.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Experience with consumer data analysis, such as AC Nielsen.
  • A highly motivated individual focused on achieving results.
