Procurement & Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Inventory Manager to join our team at Fed Supply. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing: Supervise the purchasing team, receive inputs for production, and plan components for customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Have in-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP principles and materials management, ensure inventory accuracy and levels, and implement acceptable inventory levels.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership in purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and take direct responsibility for large or strategic supplier contracts.
  • Reporting: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, supplier evaluation, and delivery ratings.
Main Management Responsibilities:
  • Team Supervision: Directly supervise a team of 4 people, responsible for performance review, training, and coaching.
  • Work Planning: Plan work assignments, ensure objectives are clearly understood, and participate in job interviews for team members.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain positive relations with employees, seek advice from resources as needed, and contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment.
