**A Snapshot of Your Day**

The Supplier Quality Manager manages and leads a global team of professionals responsible for external supplier quality performance throughout the entire product life cycle.

The team assumes full responsibility on supplier qualifications, product and process qualifications and technical supplier developments to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base.

This position directly supports Aero Derivate Gas Turbines (AGT) within business area Gas Service.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Continuously drive and improve team performance & efficiency based on Supply Quality related KPIs. Willingness to ignite change and challenge status quo.
- Ensure and improve the external supplier quality in AGT of dedicated business (products, projects, and services) through active leadership with your team as well as active collaboration with other teams in our global Supplier Quality and Development organization.
- Implements SQ requirements such as preventive actions, technical specifications, and qualification of suppliers. Support new product launches to ensure suppliers are capable of delivering to the required quality standards.
- Acts as SQ contact in cross-functional teams and drive SQ related topics.
- Ensure and continuously improve quality of suppliers and their deliveries. Support cooperation with Procurement, Quality Management, EHS, Manufacturing & Logistics, Engineering and / or Project Management.
- Support to maintain and improve the Siemens Energy Supplier Quality Management System, implement and tracks measures and activities to ensure the requested quality from external suppliers of the supplied components and services

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or material or industrial engineering, or a similar field. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Experience in leading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment. You are a self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical thinking, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.
- Experience of dealing with customers (internal and external) and suppliers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of time.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

**Preferred Knowledge / Skills**
- Rotor-machinery products knowledge
- Supplier Audit
- Quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA
- Fluent in English
