Corporate Services Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Services Paralegal to join our team at Arlyn Recruiting. As a key member of our corporate services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex corporate documents, including incorporation and organization of companies, corporate and tax reorganization, and share and asset purchases.
- Work with various business structures, including proprietorships, partnerships, limited partnerships, and societies.
- Review, summarize, and analyze corporate records, and rectify deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including ALF and BF systems.
- Respond to client and auditor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Update and file virtual minute books for all companies, including scanning and document splitting.
- Administer clients' files, including file opening, billing, and file closing.
About You:
- A Paralegal Certification from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience as a corporate paralegal or a minimum of 4 years as LAA in a similar role with comparable responsibilities in a corporate services department.
- Extensive experience with transactional work and knowledge of legal, technical procedures, statutes, regulations, and governmental practices applicable to the corporate area.
- Proficient with MS Word and Outlook, and knowledge of ALF is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a client-centered approach.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and adhere to strict deadlines.
