Position Overview:

Trail Appliances is on the lookout for a seasoned and innovative Senior Director of Marketing to join our executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in multi-channel retail, digital marketing, and brand management. This role demands a strategic mindset capable of navigating both high-level concepts and intricate details. The successful individual will have a proven history of leading successful teams and driving brand expansion in both consumer and business markets. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  1. Provide strategic vision and direction to the marketing team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Strategic Marketing:

  1. Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across various divisions to ensure unified brand messaging and market presence.
  2. Develop and manage the promotional calendar, aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
  3. Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and refine customer segmentation.

Brand Stewardship:

  1. Serve as the guardian of the brand, shaping and maintaining the company’s identity, values, and public perception.
  2. Perform competitive analysis to uncover opportunities for differentiation and enhancement of the unique selling proposition.
  3. Formulate and execute positioning strategies that resonate with target demographics.
  4. Monitor market trends to ensure brand relevance and competitiveness.

Digital Marketing:

  1. Develop the digital marketing strategy to enhance market visibility, foster customer engagement, and drive growth.
  2. Collaborate with the eCommerce team to implement seamless omni-channel retail strategies.
  3. Lead the creation and execution of a content strategy that aligns with brand identity and business goals.

Diversity Marketing:

  1. Initiate marketing activities that effectively engage diverse cultural demographics.

Customer Experience:

  1. Enhance customer interactions through targeted marketing initiatives and engaging in-store experiences.
  2. Oversee the retail experience in physical locations, ensuring alignment with brand values and customer expectations.

Corporate Communications:

  1. Manage corporate communications to maintain a consistent brand voice.
  2. Oversee media relations and crisis communication strategies.

Leadership Role:

  1. Contribute to overall business strategy as a key member of the senior leadership team, ensuring marketing initiatives align with corporate goals.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant marketing regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  1. Over 10 years of experience in senior marketing roles, particularly in retail and eCommerce.
  2. Proven leadership capabilities in managing diverse marketing teams.
  3. Strong understanding of omni-channel marketing and data-driven insights.
  4. Excellent strategic and operational skills with a hands-on approach.
  5. Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
  6. Experience in brand reputation management and market research.
  7. Proficiency in creating outstanding customer experiences.
  8. Strong budgeting and resource allocation skills.
  9. Knowledge of privacy legislation and competition guidelines.
  10. Experience in multicultural marketing.
  11. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
