Job Title: Market Vice President

Donald's Fine Foods is a leading specialty meat procurement, processing, and distribution company serving customers in British Columbia, Western Canada, and globally. As a family-owned business, we prioritize core values of customer focus, integrity, people, quality, and safety.

We operate three food processing facilities in British Columbia and one in Saskatchewan, with plans to expand into Edmonton, Alberta, and further invest in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. We seek a seasoned Vice President of Sales to join our senior executive team.

The Role:
  1. Lead the sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  2. Analyze sales strategies, methods, costs, and results to optimize performance.
  3. Develop and implement business plans for the sales and marketing department.
  4. Establish short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, best practices, and operating procedures.
  5. Ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through strategic planning.
  6. Develop specific plans and KPIs to drive revenue growth and margin expansion in each product category, major accounts, and market segments.
  7. Train, develop, and manage the sales and marketing team.
  8. Oversee staffing requirements and ensure proper onboarding and training for the sales and marketing departments.
  9. Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports to foster growth and development.
  10. Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short-term and long-term sales and overall earnings.
  11. Have a deep understanding of products, services, capabilities, customers, and current markets.
  12. Oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets and sales and marketing budgets.
  13. Research and develop strategies to identify sales and marketing opportunities.
Key Criteria/Requirements:
  1. Minimum 10 years of experience effectively managing a sales and marketing team.
  2. Experience in the retail food or food-manufacturing industry, with a focus on food industry professionals.
  3. Meat industry experience is highly valued.
  4. Perishable foods or consumer packaged goods experience is an asset.
  5. Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent with a focus on sales and marketing.
  6. Passion for continuous improvement and ability to inspire and lead a sales and marketing department.
