Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join our team at Jawala Mukhi Transport Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist in the repair and maintenance of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Assist in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport truck systems, including adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components.
  • Work with Supervisor: Discuss work with the supervisor to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Review Work Orders: Review work orders to understand the scope of work and ensure all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Estimate Costs: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on our fleet of trucks.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
