Dilawri Group is currently seeking a skilled Apprentice Mechanic to join the team at Frost GM.

As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work in an ever-changing market, where adaptive skills lead to success. You will be part of an organization leading the way with analytical leadership and empowerment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
  • Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary
  • Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended
  • Road test vehicles, as required
  • Restock the supplies in the Service Department
  • Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests
  • Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins

Qualifications:

  • Strong product knowledge
  • Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Technician experience an asset
  • General Service Department experience an asset
  • General Dealership experience
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
