Restaurant Operations Manager

At Five Kites Hospitality Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire food service staff and manage their performance, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of inventory, sales, and other relevant data.
- Scheduling and Equipment Management: Establish work schedules, set up machines and equipment, and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Quality Assurance: Check and monitor product quality, ensuring that all food products meet the required standards.
- Financial Reconciliation: Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field, ensuring that all team members are aligned with company goals.
- Personnel Management: Assign personnel to equipment and routes, schedule work shifts, and maintain accurate records of staff performance.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of activity and pressure.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, with regular breaks to maintain physical comfort and safety.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
- 2 Years to Less than 3 Years: Have a minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of food service operations and management.
- Permanent Position: Work in a permanent position, with a regular schedule and opportunities for career advancement.
- English Language: Possess a strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 40 Hours per Week: Work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and career advancement.
