About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 4343432 Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality and meet the expectations of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare and present dishes to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and hygienic manner, meeting the highest standards of quality and food safety.
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that all customer service standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cuisine Specialties: Italian cuisine, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, maintain a high level of organization, and demonstrate dependability and reliability.
