Your Impact

As a Senior Electrical Structure Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering electrical infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients and communities. You will work on complex projects that require innovative solutions, and your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.

Your Daily Work
  • Develop your career in a human-centered organization with a convivial atmosphere
  • Work on stimulating projects that combine technical work, design, drafting, and project management
  • Participate in the development of sustainable energy projects as a technical designer for public and private electricity producers in Quebec
  • Influence the direction and design of repair, maintenance, and expansion projects by participating in all stages of these projects in collaboration with engineers and technicians from various disciplines
  • Occasionally visit construction sites to conduct site surveys and monitor work progress
  • Contribute to the design of civil (structure) projects of various sizes
  • Work in a team on multidisciplinary projects with other business units
  • Assist engineers in their design tasks and participate in preparing plans and estimates
  • Act as a project manager or discipline lead for various projects
Requirements
  • Your application will be considered if you possess the following expertise and experience:
  • Diploma in a field related to electricity or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the field of structure
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • ASP Construction Card (health and safety on construction sites)
  • Ability to resolve technical situations and possess critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with technical drawing and software such as AutoCAD (Catia or Inventor would be an asset)
