About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Conbora Forming Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve the desired density.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet our high standards.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and extend their lifespan.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high-quality standards.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Finisher at Conbora Forming Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions, and will work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training or certifications are an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
