Director, Commercial Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Commercial Sales to join our team at Sterling Brokers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in establishing a strong footprint across Canada for our Commercial Insurance Products.
Key Responsibilities- Build and implement processes and controls for sales and services of commercial lines.
- Prospect and engage with customers in the commercial line of business, leveraging your license to drive growth.
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Understand client needs and present tailored solutions, effectively demonstrating the value of our insurance products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions to clients meets the requirements for the P&C line of business.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure the correct infrastructure is in place to support the needs of the P&C line of business.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Keep organized records and track progress toward business goals and quotas using Salesforce.
- CAIB and/or RIBO license required.
- Experience working with Canadian insurance carriers is preferred.
- Minimum requirement of 5 years of insurance experience in commercial lines.
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment with a multi-stage sales process.
- Strong track-record of independently generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.
- Proficiency in utilizing Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with EPIC, or other platforms for P&C, nice to have: Salesforce and Salesloft, or similar CRM and sales automation tools.
