Physiotherapist Position at Sault Area Hospital

Sault Area Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting physical well-being, and contributing to the overall success of our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with patients to establish clear treatment goals and ensure their active participation in the rehabilitation process.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy programs, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to established documentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in treating a diverse range of physical conditions, demonstrating expertise in various physiotherapy techniques.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice guidelines and commitment to staying current with advancements in the field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction, collaboration with colleagues, and clear documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
