HR Business Partner

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the company's business objectives through various HR programs and systems. This role works closely with assigned departments to manage day-to-day human resources activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations and Support: Provide guidance, make recommendations, and coach leaders and team members on progressive discipline, performance management, and policy application.
- Employment Life Cycle Management: Manage the hiring, transfers, layoffs, and exit procedures for the business group, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manpower Planning and Training: Work with the business group to support manpower planning, training matrices, and auditing training compliance.
- Investigations and Conflict Resolution: Respond to concerns and conduct thorough workplace investigations, working with leaders to proactively resolve disputes.
- Process Improvement and Standardization: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization of processes to optimize team and business performance.
- HRIS and Reporting: Update HRIS and other related systems, creating ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Payroll and Employment Administration: Work closely with payroll to complete all employment administration requirements, ensuring alignment of information.
- Employee Charter and Open Door Process: Advocate for the Employee Charter, Open Door process, and other company initiatives.
- Policies and Procedures: Recommend and update human resources policies and procedures.
- Workplace Committees: Participate in workplace committees as required, including social, fairness, and charity committees.
- Full Cycle Recruitment: Support full-cycle recruitment for specified departments, including onboarding.
- Project Participation: Participate in projects as assigned.
- Education: College diploma or certificate in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment.
- Skills: Proficient user in Microsoft Office products, ATS, and HRIS systems; strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work overtime and flexible hours to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Confidentiality: Ability to work in a professional and confidential manner.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and with all levels within the organization.
