Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, such as walking and using wheelchairs
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare team
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
  • Successful completion of an approved Health Care Support Worker micro-credential course or equivalent
  • Completed a minimum of 300 paid hours as a UHCA in the preceding 12 months
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • 18 years or older; Grade 12 (or mature student Grade 10)
  • English speaking (Level 6 IELTS or Level 7 CLB)
