About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at NOV.8 SUSHI GALORE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing menu items, including creating new recipes and modifying existing ones to meet customer preferences.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by preparing and presenting dishes to meet customer expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
