About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef Assistant to join our team at NOV.8 SUSHI GALORE. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting our Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of our sushi dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Assist in the creation of new recipes and menu planning.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and assist other kitchen staff as needed.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
