About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Fat Bastard Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our food meets our high standards, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring long hours on your feet and frequent lifting
