At Architecture49, we are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to contribute to our Ottawa office. Our team is dedicated to creating exceptional spaces that meet the needs of our clients and the communities they serve.

We are committed to leveraging technology as a cornerstone of our design processes, methodologies, and procedures. While experience with digital design, production, and visualization tools is preferred, we are looking for individuals who share our passion for technology in design.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners on internal and external projects.
  • Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of conceptual design, design development, and construction documents, including details and specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
  • Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Landscape Architect.
  • Member or Associate Member of OALA or eligibility for membership.
  • Eligibility for Federal enhanced security clearance.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Civil3D, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365 environment.
