Our Team

Nestled in the heart of Canada's capital city, our region boasts a rich history and specialization in public buildings for government clients and a diverse range of community buildings across our other market sectors. Our expertise shines through in work in the Security and Defence sector. Moreover, we have been privileged to lead historical preservation initiatives including Parliament Hill, safeguarding the iconic symbols of Canadian democracy for future generations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners.
  • Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of conceptual design, design development, and construction documents, including details and specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects, budgets, and effectively meet deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination, and approvals.
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
  • Assist with contract administration and site inspections.

Qualifications

  • Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Landscape Architect.
  • Member or Associate Member of OALA or eligibility for membership.
  • The successful candidate must be eligible for Federal enhanced security clearance.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of:
  • BIM principles & workflows.
  • REVIT software.
  • AutoCAD software.
  • Civil3D and Rhino.
  • Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Microsoft 365 environment.
