We are seeking a skilled Power Engineer to join our team at Truro Ice Cream, a stimulating and collaborative workplace. As a Power Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Industrial Mechanics and Electricians with equipment breakdowns and troubleshooting
  • Operate and maintain Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Boilers, Air Compressors, and HVAC equipment
  • Complete planned maintenance during production downtime
  • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for completing assigned and unplanned work
  • Ensure a strong commitment to occupational health and safety, including Lockout/Tagout, arc flash, working at heights, and confined space procedures
Requirements:
  • 3rd Class Power Engineer or 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator license
  • Strong mechanical or technical background
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented processing and manufacturing environment, rotating shifts, with occasional overtime, weekend work, and on-call duties
