Job Summary
Trochu Motors, a leading farm equipment dealership, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the service operations of the Service Department to maximize efficiency and productivity, ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Organize and manage the Wash Bay, Shop Hands, and Yard Person teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service department workflow, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the training of staff members in service methods, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Identify and correct potential work problems and health and safety issues.
- Work closely with the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to achieve performance expectations.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education not required but recommended.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience with demonstrated motivating, training, appraising, and general supervisory skills.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Proven mechanical abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise professional and non-professional staff.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Able to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing practices as needed.
